QUINCUNX OF WASHINGTON, LIVE NATION AND SLEEP COUNTRY USA ANNOUNCE NEW NAMING AGREEMENT FOR ONE OF THE NORTHWEST’S PREMIERE MUSIC VENUES - SLEEP COUNTRY AMPHITHEATERSleep Country USA, the Northwest’s largest seller of premium mattresses, and Live Nation, the world’s largest live music company along with Quincunx of Washington, the operator of the former Amphitheater at Clark County today announced a three-year partnership that gives Sleep Country the naming rights to the amphitheater located in Ridgefield, Washington. Beginning today the amphitheater will be called Sleep Country Amphitheater. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with Quincunx of Washington and Live Nation to brand this world-class outdoor amphitheater as the new Sleep Country Amphitheater,” said Mike Wilson, Vice President of Marketing, Sleep Country USA. “It enables us to connect with the community in a new way and utilize the benefits of sponsorship to increase brand awareness of our company and our Sleep Country Foster Kids program.” Sleep Country Amphitheater, operated by Quincunx and primarily booked by Live Nation, can accommodate 18,000 people and hosts approximately 10 events per year. In 2009, the amphitheater celebrated one of the most successful seasons in the seven-year history of the venue with sellouts and memorable performances by celebrated artists including Coldplay, Nickelback, Def Leppard, and Pearl Jam, among others. “Quincunx and Sleep Country have both enjoyed successful partnerships with Live Nation for years; we are excited that we will all be working together here in the Northwest,” said Dan Braun, Executive Manager of the amphitheater. “We are especially pleased to be associated with another independently owned company that is committed to being a good corporate neighbor. Recently we demonstrated that commitment through the donation of over $150,000.00 worth of musical instruments to local schools. Sleep Country lives their commitment all year long with programs supporting foster children in our community. We are proud to have them as our title sponsor and look forward to a long and successful partnership.” About Live NationLive Nation Entertainment (NYSE-LYV) is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, e-commerce and artist management.
